The Green Party of Utah has elected Officers to perform duties for the members. The definition of the duties of each position are outlined below the officers and locals spokespersons contact information.

Definitions of Offices and Responsibilities of Officers
- Co-Coordinators - The Co-Coordinators shall consist of one female and one male representative.
- Shall sit on Council
- Shall sit on the Website Sub-Committee for oversight purposes
- Shall be the primary representatives of the Green Party of Utah
- Shall regularly monitor progress of committee activities to promote organizational efficiency and integration
- Shall, in cooperation with the Secretary, collect committee reports for publication
- Perform all other duties required of the office
- Secretary
- Shall sit on the Council as Minutetaker and may not participate in consensus seeking
- Shall sit on the State Rules Committee
- Shall be the primary contact for the GPUT Locals in matters of record keeping such as local formation application, bylaws, contact information, and meeting minutes
- Shall maintain archives of all documents submitted to the Council by Locals, committee reports, Council minutes, membership databases, etc.
- Shall provide public access to GPUT records in accordance with Utah Law
- Shall perform all other duties required of the office
NOTE: This position may be combined with the office of Treasurer if deemed necessary and appropriate by the Coordinating Council
- Treasurer
- Shall sit on the Council
- Shall sit on the fundraising committee
- Shall be the primary contact for the Locals in matters of finances
- Shall be a resource for GPUT members who are in the process of forming a Local bank account
- Shall manage the deposit and expenditure of party funds and govern the accounting for and reporting of party financial transactions
- Shall appraise the Council at every regular Council meeting of the financial status of the GPUT
- Shall cause an outside audit to be conducted annually.
- Shall provide public access to GPUT records in accordance with Utah Law
- Shall perform all other duties required of the office
- Treasurer or designate shall sit on the Budget and Finance Committee
NOTE: This position may be combined with the office of Secretary if deemed necessary and appropriate by the Coordinating Council
- Locals Liaison
The position of Locals Liaison will only be incorporated when there are 10 or more Locals in the state party.
- Shall sit on the Council
- Shall sit on the State Membership Committee
- Shall be the primary contact for the Locals in all matters except record keeping and finances
- Shall be a resource for individuals who are in the process of organizing a Local
- Shall contact Locals about statewide, regional, or national, events, organizations, or causes that may be of interest to the Locals
- Delegates to the Green Party of the United States (GPUS) - Delegates shall consist of at least one female and one male representative and this number may change depending on the number of party representatives allowed by GPUS bylaws.
- Shall sit on the Council
- Shall officially represent the GPUT to the GPUS and their decisions/participation will be guided by the GPUT Key Values and Platform.
- Terms will be staggered in order to ensure continuity; one individual will serve for two years and the other for one year, starting with the GPUT founding convention.
- Delegates must monitor the GPUS listserves and provide regular summaries for the Council. Delegates must also report monthly to the Council on their activities and will consult with the Council prior to casting votes on major decisions. Agendas for national meetings will be forwarded to the Council as soon as they are available. Reports will be made available to GPUT members through the Communications committee.
- Delegates shall make a good faith effort to travel to national meetings of the GPUS. Delegates will consult with the Council if they are unable to attend these meetings. The Council will help provide financial assistance or choose an alternate delegate to attend the meetings.
- Delegates shall be elected at statewide conventions, starting in 2003.
